The Carolina Chamber Music Players Perform "Peter and the Wolf" for Mocksville and for Surry County!

During October, members of the Carolina Chamber Symphony Players along with narrator Peter Perret gave two performances of Prokofiev's classic Peter and the Wolf at the Brock Performing Arts Center in Mocksville, N.C. The concerts, sponsored by the Davie County Arts Council, were presented to more than 600 school children. Less than two weeks later, the same ensemble gave three more performances at three separate schools in Surry County. Those concerts, sponsored by Surry County Arts Council, were also a big hit.
